This Processing sketch controls the playback of a Quicktime movie using serial data. To use it, send a serial value from 0 – 255. The movie position will be set based on that value. 0 = beginning of movie, 255 = end of movie. It doesn’t matter what’s sending the serial data, as long as the value is between 0 and 255.

Terry Jones (from Monty Python) is adapting Good Omens for the miniseries! That sounds like a perfect fit! ASDFGHJKL;
Also, Neil says he’s heading to the UK to do a whole bunch of interviews about his Doctor Who episode.
And I just saw the finished version of my Doctor Who episode. I was happy — there were moments and even scenes I missed, but that’s always the way. Mostly I was just impressed by the performances, direction and music. And effects. They spent money on this one and it shows.
AHHH I AM SO EXCITE. I’m dying to know what he wrote that was so expensive that they bumped his episode from S5 to S6 and STILL made him cut a bunch of stuff for budget reasons.
He also confirms that a Sandman TV show may be in the works, but that Eric Kripke will NOT be helming it. He says that they liked Kripke’s pitch, but it “wasn’t quite right” and they passed. I have to say, I’m kind of relieved. I love SPN but I’m not sure Kripke’s the guy I’d want working on Sandman. I’m actually kind of scared of a Sandman TV show at all, just because it will be so hard to do right.
